We require that you insert your Ruger and the extra magazine into the holster and mag pouch and leave them in place for 72 hours so the holster can better form-fit to your exact firearm. This is the process for a heavy-duty leather holster. It takes 72 hours for your leather holster to bind and form-fit to your exact firearm perfectly. This ensures that your firearm will not come out of the BlueStone Safety Leather Ruger MK22 holster until you are ready to draw it. At first your firearm may be slightly tight to insert into the holster, however this process will alleviate this and give you a smooth draw. To further break in the holster, you can also remove the firearm and mag from the holster, and then gently massage the leather.
