Perfect fit for my plate carrier. Hope I really never have to test this. Should provide good protection with my soft armor. A bit heavy but its better to have a bruise than a penetration.

It's a sad testimony that we live in a time where I felt that it was necessary to buy body armor. When I was a police officer I very much appreciated the fact that I had something on that might bring me home at the end of the day. Level IV armor will stop a 30-06 hardened steel round. Being ceramic, this stuff isn't anywhere as heavy as a similarly rated steel plate, so you have less weight to slow you down. Get yourself a quality carrier (not airsoft!) and add the companion from plate. If your carrier has the capability, get the 6 x 8 or 6 x 6 side plates as well. If you're going to wear body armor, don't scrimp.
